movember_posterOn Sunday November 24, Movember Team RDU will host the “Music, Mustaches & Men’s Health” charity event from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Tir Na Nog, in downtown Raleigh, to raise money for male health awareness. Movember is an annual, global event in which men grow mustaches to prompt conversations about male issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health. This year, Team RDU will unite The Triangle for a fundraiser featuring a silent auction and live music.

The last time Team RDU hosted Movember, they raised more than $22,000 with support from Triangle AMA, Brooks Bell Interactive, DSI Comedy Theater, Capstrat, Ignite and many more! Follow Team RDU via Twitter and Facebook, and be sure to sign up as a member of Movember Team RDU!

Time to showcase that awesome Joe Dirt face you’ve been working on all month! Celebrate with other furry faced people while people stare at the wonders of your mo. The event will feature a (not so) silent auction while rocking out to some awesome NC bands! The lineup:

Spare Change
Eston & the Outs (featuring members of The Love Language)
Debonzo Brothers
Hammer No More The Fingers

Our Emcee: The Real Laww

Sponsors will be lending some swag for grabs, and Tir Na Nog will be pouring your favorite beverages. Come make silly faces and show off your stache in our photobooth. All donations will go to support mental health, testicular and prostate cancer.

A suggested $5 donation will be collected at the door on Sunday.
